Synopsis: Drama. Twenty-one year-old Morvern Callar lives in a small coastal town in the west of Scotland, where she works in a supermarket. When she returns home from work to find her boyfriend has committed suicide, she appropriates his unpublished novel and uses funds from his bank account to fly to Spain with her best friend.Synopsis: Based on the novel by Alan Warner. The story of a young working class woman from a small port in western Scotland, who uses the suicide of her boyfriend as the means of escaping from her small town existence. She empties his bank account, appropriates his unpublished novel, and flies off Spain with her best girl friend.
